We offer great foot massage and reflexology services, in a welcoming atmosphere. You’re invited to have a cup of tea and to listen to the best Fado music while having a deserved foot massage.

ABOUT US Using the ancient art of foot massage and reflexology, and inspired in the traditional spas of Asian Southeast countries, at Ponha Aqui o Seu Pezinho® – which literally means “put your little foot overhere” – we provide you with the most enjoyable foot massage and reflexology experiences to heal your mind, body, and soul. We believe in providing our guests with the highest standards of service and quality possible. All our therapists are highly qualified, undergoing a strict selection process to ensure your satisfaction. Not only do our expert masseuses relieve your stress and fatigue, but they can also help you restore the balance and harmony within your system. All our foot treatments start with a relaxing antiseptic footbath, and we’re committed to use only 100% natural products from certified suppliers. Our guests have the opportunity of choosing their aromatherapy massage oil according to their needs – no matter whether you need a good night of sleep, a help with your digestive or circulatory systems or a deep relaxation moment, we have the right essential oil for you.

WHY DO YOU DESERVE A FOOT MASSAGE? In a world where we all walk, run and stand, our feet support us the entire way. While being stifled in shoes and socks all day, they have restricted circulation and air contact. Although machines that massage feet are becoming popular, there is no replacement for what the genuine human touch can do. A foot massage is ideal for relieving stress and tension and a great way to relax after a long day. Moreover, getting a massage from a skilled therapist will also improve your circulation and help to relieve lower leg pain. On the other hand, in a foot reflexology procedure pressure is purposely applied to reflex points in the feet to send signals to other targeted parts of the body. For 3,000 years Chinese practitioners have used reflexology to re-balance Qi (the life force flowing through energy channels), in order to treat a number of conditions. Each foot contains more than 7,200 nerve endings, 19 muscles, 26 bones, and 107 ligaments. Your feet are linked to every part in the human body, and that’s why ancient Asian cultures see the feet like roots of a tree.

The important step to a full understanding of reflexology techniques is an appreciation of the pressure points and zones and how they relate to the body.

The right sole has reflex areas which correspond to the body’s right hand side.

The left sole has reflex areas which correspond to the body’s left hand side.

The natural curve of the inside of each foot represents the spine. The big toe corresponds to neck, the area from shoulder and waist is found on the ball of the foot.

The outer edge of foot corresponds to the outer parts of body – limbs, joints, and ligaments.
